Hi, I’m turning 21 later this year and have been wanting to get a bisalp for a while(I’m in the US). I have Medicare and have been told that most plans will cover sterilization once you are 21, so I’ve been holding out. When is a good time to start setting up a consult? I have a doctor in mind and she’s an hour and a half drive from me. I know some places require a certain downtime in case you change your mind or something so should I wait until my birthday has passed or just go for it now? I would also prefer for get it done over the summer so I don’t have to miss classes. Any advice is appreciated TIA!
