Has anyone experienced this before when using an AI erase tool?
I was editing a photo and tried removing people from the frame, but it only happened once and left some strange artifacts, pixelation, and a few white dots on the side. The photo originally had multiple people in it, and I also cropped it afterward.
Is this normal when using AI erase, or is it more likely a glitch?
How I did it:
I used the telephoto lens at around 10x, positioned roughly a foot from the subject. I also made sure macro mode was enabled and slightly reduced the exposure.
Edited the photo using the default gallery app.
Pros: Overall Solid phone. Excellent camera and battery life. Fast performance. Great Display.
Cons: Expensive. OriginOS not for everyone
It’s honestly funny how anytime someone posts a beautiful photo here, people are so quick to dismiss it as “AI” or “AI slop.”
Image processing and editing have existed long before AI became a buzzword, yet somehow that gets ignored. It makes you wonder, are these reactions coming from brand bias, or just unnecessary competitiveness, like trying to prove one device is better than another?
The negativity is exhausting. Not everything impressive is fake, and not everything needs to turn into a toxic debate.
I conducted a macro test on a human subject, focusing specifically on the eye.
I spent over a week testing the Vivo X300 Ultra’s camera, coming from my still fairly new Vivo X200 Ultra, and the improvements are easy to notice. The older phone is already excellent, but this one feels more refined where it counts.
Colors look more natural and balanced now, and overall image quality is a step closer to what you would expect from a dedicated camera. The camera UI is also cleaner and easier to use, which helps when you just want to point and shoot. The latest update added a few features that are currently exclusive to this model, and they are actually useful.
Natural mode is back, though I personally prefer the Refined preset for its more polished look. Horizon Lock is another nice addition and works well for stabilizing video.
Overall, it is a great camera upgrade, but if you are already using a Vivo X300 Pro or X200 Ultra, there is no real need to upgrade just yet.
