Missing motherly presence in my life, is there anyone I could wish Mother’s Day or talk to for a while?

I am a 21 year old law student and do not live with my mother. I have never had the fortune of experiencing doting and protective love from mother and this mother’s day I feel wistful about the lack of a motherly presence in my life.

I wish I could talk to literally any motherly figure today – so would be glad if I could connect with the mother of any of my brothers and sisters present on this subreddit. Cause I am quite skeptical of finding mothers using reddit as it’s mostly used by young people in India.

But yeah, happy mothers day to all the lucky ones who have an unconditionally loving mother in their lives! 🌺🌺⭐️⭐️

I have grown tired of conversing in Hindi with family members and friends all the time and want to see what I sound like when I talk in English…

I would consider myself fairly articulate and am also a bit of a grammar nazi but lately I have started to be more forgiving and magnanimous in my approach and welcome all kinds of speakers and focus on the meaning that they are intending to convey and not the external appearance of the kind of words they use to clothe their ideas.

So if you are up for it, we can talk on voice call strictly in english and talk about general things or literally anything under the sun.

Offer stands valid only for today before 11:59 pm

Hi everyone,

I am a second year BBA LLB student in an NLU and have keen interest in management and the online degree course offered by IIM Bangalore.

Since the applications for the course are open now, I wanted to know about how the whole process of selection pans out and importantly how are lectures delivered and when do we have exams in the offline centres.

As I am already pursuing a primary degree, I would like to know what all I would have to manage and it would be great if similar students studying in a university can share their experience of how they manage everything.

Plus our university has strict schedule and dates for exams so I would also wanna know what the calendar of exams for IIM DBE looks like and if there is any flexibility offered by them.

Are lectures given live or do we have access to them online at any time? Do we get to interact with professors and our peers? What are the exams like in their difficulty level? Can the course be managed with a 10-5 university routine?
