This is an update from my previous post. I PASSED!!!!!
I can’t believe it, this is my third attempt, I genuinely thought I was gonna fail. I stalled twice on a hill start and thought it was over. They ended up being minors because I didn’t roll back and I wasn’t holding up traffic too bad and I wasn’t in an inconvenient space. I genuinely thought I failed on that was kind of panicking the whole test and trying to be like no you passed.
I could not make out anything from my examiner. I was trying to gauge his reaction which was a bit stupid, but I pulled into the test centre and the examiner got out everything, but they didn’t get out the certificate and I was like okay I failed. I opened the door up to my instructor and just waited for the inevitable, but when he said I passed, I started balling my eyes out.
I was shocked, I thought I might have passed but I genuinely thought the odds were against me. I literally was jumping around in my seat like a crazy person and my examiner had to tell me to calm down so he could debrief me.
I just want to let anyone know who has failed multiple times. Don’t give up, every time you fails it hurts worse and worse but you can’t let it get to you.
What really helped me is coming to times with the fact that each time I failed for a reason. I strongly believe every single time I failed it was because that if I passed, I would’ve caused an accident or hurt myself driving. I think each fail made me a better driver and even though I strongly believe I could’ve easily passed on my first go I’m just happy I passed.
