Final mine help

I just lost this game of minesweeper because i placed the mine next to the 3 rather than the 1. this was wrong, however i can't see any way to be able to distinguish where the mine should be placed in a situation like this. i may just be missing something though as i am still fairly new to the game and unaware of many tricks. is there any way i could tell for if im in a similar situation in a future game?

Hello, I'm having a hard time distinguishing hetween Black Poplar trees and Small Leafed Lime trees, both the leaves and bark look incredibly similar to me and was just wondering if there was a way to tell. I'm based in London, UK. Thank you!
