Hi there! I play trombone in my school band, I’m by no means the best player but I’m definitely not the worst. But I’d like to start practicing more so I can sound better because I really enjoy band!
But, I have a hard time transporting my trombone to and from school. I take the bus and my bus happens to be crowded and a trombone case is big so it’s really awkward to transport it that way. Even if I wanted to just tough it out on the bus, I’m not able to make it from my last class then to my band locker and down to the buses in time. My parents can take me to and from school sometimes, but not on a consistent basis. So one of my main options was looking at getting a 2nd trombone. Nothing fancy as I only have a Yamaha student trombone currently, and I don’t want to go broke buying a brand new trombone. I was looking into the P-Bone and considering that as the main option, or would it be better to look on EBay/Facebook marketplace for another “student” trombone from Yamaha/another group?
Any advice appreciated!
