I had a tooth extracted 4 week ago, and a bone spicule smoothed out a week ago. I was told I’d be feeling fine by the second day but here I am a week later still in pain. I don’t feel pain constantly, but feel it often throughout the day (last night it started again after eating ice cream).

Is this normal? Could the site be infected? What should I do? FWIW I kinda burned my mouth with hot tea the other day but idk if it has anything to do with the pain I’m feeling.

I just moved cities so can’t see my dentist and my new insurance hasn’t kicked in so I’m kinda freaking out.
