Looking for Fiber intake ideas

Hi friends, I decided to try here and see if you lovely lot have any ideas to aid me; please be patient with me as I'm finding I'm a pain in the butt to work with in these situations lol

I recently found out I have hypermobility, common with ND people it seems, this has explained a lot of my health history including but not limited to vertigo, back weakness/pain, neck tension/migraines, foot cramping (unreleated to electrolyte issues as I had the blood work done), increased pain in mensuration, weird posture and constantly leaning on things, unable to stand in one spot for long periods of time due to discomfort, annnd Chronic Constipation, huzzah! not really xD

Once I started my ADHD meds I was like "wow I'm so motivated to finally fix this problem!" so I started looking into dietary intake needs, Health Canada recommends 25g of fiber intake in a day for gut health, I started a food journal and it seems though I eat good things I dont eat enough of the good things and I was only hitting 12-15g of fiber a day. So I boosted it up and looked into high fiber foods, starting having better bowel habits within the week (yay) but we're not out of the woods yet. Went to a physiotherapist with a doctorate in pelvic floor health and she was the one who told me I'm hypermobile, she has me doing very specific stretches to work out the muscles causing my pelvic floor tightness and they are helping.

Today I went to my family doctor and I gave him my health update with my hypermobility; I told him about my fiber intake increase and was getting 22-24g daily and sometimes hitting that 25g mark, he interrupted me and said "50g". I stopped "what?" "hypermobile individuals need up to 50g daily to manage chronic constipation while drinking 2L of water a day"

So now I feel defeated. 50g is SO much! He did agree it's really hard to meet that goal and recommended Metamucil, sure...yea I knew that existed, but here's my problem xD

1.) I hate the texture of metamucil and I cannot ever complete my dose intake its so gritty and there seems to be nothing but gritty textures out there for the powders; and I've been told it should be psyllium husk fiber per my doctors recommendation as this is the best one for constipation

2.) I suck at drinking water, I have recently been taking my water through a cup with a metal straw as it helps me drink more, but it's still not enough, I have started adding electrolytes to the water to increase my enjoyment of it, and it does help with the hypermobility vertigo by increasing my cerebral spinal fluid pressure so it controls that vertigo better.

3.) I can't swallow large capsules like the ones metamucil offers

4.) the gummy fiber chews are inulin/chicory root fiber and they don't meet the criteria it seems, and I have been using them the past month and it's minimal improvement on them

Anyone else deal with this problem @_@ I feel so...mentally drained trying to figure this problem out. My appetite is so low already and I am trying my best to keep that protein intake up and anything outside of the protein needs to be high fiber based, I dont want to lose weight on this med because it makes me feel better, but Im really petite already. The struggle is real xD
