"If you build it, They will come" Not a Mandela Effect
Does anyone know the name of a movie where they say "If you build it, They will come". Every thread or reddit or google search says its Field of Dreams. Then says it's a Mandela effect because Field of Dreams says "He will come" and Everyone quotes it as "They will come". But this is from a different Movie and is not Field of Dreams. I thought it was that movie Contact. Because I remember Jodie Foster being in it. And I remember the ending being she finds her dad on the beach in space... Which is the movie Contact... I must have got my memory of it crossed. But it's not the movie I'm trying to find. The movie I'm looking for also has a Female lead, where I think she's contacted by aliens or something telling her: "If you build it, They will come". She builds a Spiraling Staircase. There's this kid; I think its a girl, and they are deaf or mute or something, they seem like they know something about the aliens/voices, but they don't talk. At one point the kid paints their face to blend in with a Tree and we get a jump scare scene with them opening their eyes. It's like the Movie doesn't exist on the Internet, or it never made it to digital. But it was as popular as Contact or Signs. Man; I really want to find this Movie.
