Hello All,

Does anyone have any ideas on WD Extend and integrating with Absence and came across use cases such as:

  1. Fully automating balance transfer between time off plans instead of service step or semi auto and automated adjustments?

  2. Automating payout of unused time off plan balance for worker at the end of calendar year instead of forfeiture reports and sending that to payroll for payroll input?

  3. Some possible solution of worker getting rehired and terminated in the same period, instead of reports and payroll input?

Am I thinking too far and is it really feasible. Would appreciate some insights or any other use cases, if you have come across any just wanted to check out all the possibility before starting.

Hello all,

I came across this requirement for healthcare client for Parental leave. In their holiday calendars, they have early release holidays and holidays that fall just following early release holidays eg 23rd may ER Memorial and 25th May Memorial Day.

On WD leave of absence setup, under balance section, I got days to include: workdays non-holidays.

Ask: They want LOA to still cover ER Holidays and pay out 8hrs and when normal memorial day 25th hit, parental would go unpaid on that day and normal holiday pay would hit their payroll. Can anyone suggest any workaround to how we can payout parental leave full 8hrs on er holidays as workday non-holidays skip these both. Holiday and work schedule calendars is in scope. I can only think of manual off cycle payroll input to handle this. Any and all suggestions, workarounds are welcome and appreciated!
