I have 2020 Model Y and it’s been a great car but we’ve had an Outback for winter driving from Portland to a cabin in the cold and snowy upper Methow Valley of Washington. A 360 mile drive. I’m replacing the 2015 Outback and thinking of getting a second model Y that I’ll put snow tires on in the winter but my wife thinks we should stick with an Outback. Sticking points are reduced winter range and getting through a couple miles of often deep and rutted icy roads. I’d love to hear educated opinions on which to buy?
