How much is considered a pass for modules? I’m currently on exchange (actually finishing exchange) and just finished one of my finals. I’m feeling pretty anxious because the paper felt rough, and now I’m overthinking whether I might fail the module.
I just want to know general experiences, for exchange students and students studying here, how common is it to actually fail a module if you attended classes, submitted most/all assignments, and attempted the final? My final exam paper might actually be 20/100, and the weightage of it is pretty high.
Do universities usually grade exchange students the same way as local students, or is there sometimes moderation/leniency as long as you made a reasonable attempt? I know this probably depends on the university and course, but I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have been on exchange or know how this usually works.
Basically: is failing actually common, or does it just feel likely right after a bad exam?
