Can they deny your accomodations asking to allow sitting? I have a bagger position. They ask all baggers to frequently move to other registers to bag. This wouldn't be a realistic expectation for me to frequently move registers if I can sit down and bag. I have a high risk pregnancy with now more monitoring for fetal growth restriction. I don't feel I should stand for a prolonged time anymore as it can restrict blood flow. I didn't think sitting would be a reasonable accomodation for a bagger since they are told to frequently move registers.

There's a problem with the placenta getting nutrients and oxygen to the baby. I'm 31 weeks and they are scheduling me now for twice a week at maternal fetal movement appointments. They said at last week's appointment it's not getting worse but not getting better, it stayed the same as the previous appointment. I've researched that prolonged standing can reduce blood flow. I have an appointment tomorrow with mfm to monitor fgr. I'm starting to think I should go ahead and stop working.
