Seen at the church history museum. Joseph “used the stones to find lost things”. Let’s leave out the part about him using the stones to swindle everyone in town.
Funny how this was anti-Mormon material not 10 years ago. Now everyone will say that it is what has always been taught. The church can claim this as an official part of its history and then sue the very people that helped it come to light as what really happened.
We had such a hard time being cordial to the missionaries running the museum that furthered the lies. I think they could see “the light” missing from our eyes.
