I’m posting here because I’m honestly fed up with the situation. My Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 5 (13ARP10) battery completely died within just 1.5 months of purchase — which is unacceptable for a new laptop.
I immediately contacted Lenovo customer support. They acknowledged the issue but told me the replacement battery is not available at my location. It’s now been over 10 days, and there’s still no update, no timeline, and no resolution.
Right now, I’m stuck with a laptop that only works when plugged in — essentially useless as a portable device.
This doesn’t feel like a reasonable level of support for a product under warranty.
What are my options here?
Should I escalate this within Lenovo?
Is this something I can take up through consumer forums in India?
Has anyone managed to get a replacement/refund in a similar case?
Would really appreciate any guidance on how to push this forward.
