Hi everyone! I'm just looking for some advice (or maybe reassurance?) about my 4.5 month old son's daytime naps. Lately, he only wants to nap on me during the day. We don't cosleep - he naps on me in my recliner. He'll nap really easily on his own in his car seat or stroller, but when I'm trying to get him to transfer to his crib after nursing during the day, he wakes up instantly. He basically wants to sleep with my nipple in his mouth. I keep removing it, and he finds it again. He won't take a soother. At night time, he sleeps very well in his bassinet - transfers easily after nursing and stays sleeping, usually only waking up twice per night. I'm just not sure how to get him to nap without me during the day.. and I'm worried I'm forming a bad habit that will eventually lead to him refusing to sleep away from me at night, too. Does anyone have any suggestions on anything I should change? Or am I worrying too much, and will he just eventually start wanting to nap on his own in the next few weeks or so? Thx in advance. ❤️
