A buyer purchased an item from me, and selected standard delivery. He asked if I could send it to him in time for Friday, so I agreed and sent it 24hrs delivery, but had a nightmare after the prepaid label was generated. I have sent it privately through Royal Mail 24, but now I can’t get rid of the prepaid label, and eBay thinks it is being sent with that label so will not pay me until it is scanned as delivered.
How do I cancel the label, get a refund for the generated label and tell eBay that it has gone as a different tracking?

A moron crashed into my changing lanes today, he initially agreed it was his fault and we decided to have him pay me privately to get it repaired. Now he’s changed his mind and told me to claim. I didn’t want to due to losing no claims. I don’t have video evidence but the damage is clear it was his car that went into mine.
I just went to digitally fill in a claim with Hastings, and at the end it said I will have to pay my excess of £500 even if it’s not my fault? I’m confused, why would I be out of pocket when it wasn’t me?
So do I need to go through his insurer?
