I’m 55 and 16 units away from graduating. I met with a counselor, came up with a great plan, submitted documentation (Moms death certificate, lost house) hardships. Classes started this week and I called and spoke with the financial aid director to find out I was denied. I’m absolutely crushed. Asked for any possible emergency grants and another no, and just can’t believe after everything and being this close that it’s over. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thx -
