I was excited to see the 645D camera that came out recently. I am really looking for something like this to replace what's on my long driveway (something with an actual zoom lense). However, I'm a little disappointed on the 15 FPS limitation.

While most people are respectful of our property or current camera is limited to 15 FPS and vehicles that speed down our driveway can easily be missed by the camera. I blame this on a combination of the slow wake up as well as the low fps. When a vehicle speeds by the camera it is lucky to catch a single frame that equates to a picture, let alone a video.

Will there be a wired version of this dual 4K camera? Most likely what I would do is set up a solar power station to run it... The same way I have for a couple of the dual 2k cameras to avoid the built in battery saving features.

I'm not sure where to even post this, but I'm thinking about creating some DIY speed bumps to help people slow down in our long driveway up to our horse farm.

Question is how to secure said speed bumps to our driveway. The driveway is a slag type material not loose gravel and not concrete/asphalt but does compact very hard. I do maintain it and grate it which is the only time it is really loose and that's only the very top layer.

Most likely I would do a fresh grade in the driveway which would make the very top of the surface somewhat loose for a time, but the base is still going to be very hard packed. Would I almost treat it like concrete and drill a hole and run a lag screw? I'm afraid pounding a rod straight down would be both very difficult and not really end up securing the speed bumps.

Really looking to pull the trigger on the dual 4K C675D. Best deal I can find is $184 for a single unit with a discount code from email.

Is anyone using this on a driveway? Really sick of the poor performance of the wyze battery cam pro and I'm hoping to replace it with this model. My biggest gripe with the wyze is it doesn't wake up fast enough a lot of times to catch vehicles driving across its whole field of view. I'm assuming this dual 4K cam works off PIR which may be a limiting factor. Hoping for a faster wake up and a higher frame range to catch moving objects.

I submitted a case yesterday about a driver who came up our driveway at a stupid rate of speed, and ran over our lawn. While I am not terribly concerned about the lawn unless they damaged irrigation heads, the bigger issue is the speed.

For context, we are a horse farm where individuals may be riding or handling horses and delivery trucks. Flying in and out of our driveway is not acceptable. The end of the driveway is clearly marked with a large SLOW sign as well as cameras in use. When you enter the driveway, aside from the very obvious sign, you are driving it right alongside a horse pasture with horses in it, so there is zero excuse to not proceed with at least a little bit of caution. FedEx isn't the only offender of this but yesterday's driver treated our our gravel driveway like it was a 55 mph road both in and out... And yes my partner was actually handling a horse at the time.

Ticket was submitted. I got a total of two emails: one stating a case was opened yesterday. Then another email about noon today stating the case was closed... Zero updates in between. Meanwhile, I watched a FedEx truck rip up and down my neighbor's driveway which I recorded with my phone. No idea if it was the same person. I wasn't close enough. I had to hope to add this video to my case and that's what I discovered. It had already been closed with absolutely no resolve or comment.

Do I have any recourse here or how can I get it reopened? This goes beyond just excessive speed on our property, wearing tear of the driveway, etc... and is a safety and liability concern to our equestrian business and clients.
