This is probably one of my favorite coins. I’ve wondered if I should sent it in for grading more out of curiosity of what it would grade than anything else. What do you guys think?
I figured I would try my luck at half dollars today just to see if my local credit union had any. Last time I got rolls from a different bank I didn’t have much luck, a few NIFCs but no silver. After that I gave up on halves for a while figuring they had all been searched though. When I was going in today I had a feeling I should ask if they had any half dollars, they said a customer brought some in and they had been trying to get rid of them, so I took them all since it wasn’t much. I wasn’t thinking anything of it until the teller started taking them out and putting them on the counter, I couldn’t ignore the sound they made! It was hard to contain my excitement!!
