About 10 years ago I had a medical circumcision, which also removed my frenulum. At the point it exactly meets my foreskin remnant I have a red spot which scabbed up just like a cold sore. About 4 months ago I took it to the sTd clinic, no std including HPV, but anti virals helped. It went away, after using hydrocortisone cream. This however thinned the skin on my glans which split a little again after nocturnal erection. I spoke to my GP who recommended avoiding hydrocortisone. I've used off label pseudoephedrine to stop nocturnal erection and zinc ointment. Seems to be working, but my foreskin remnant still rubs it a bit. I was suggested short term mechanical device to keep the foreskin back. I have a retired PA, and was thinking this might work. Any observations
