Was hoping to ride from the city to Henry Hudson/River Rd next weekend (weather looks great) and saw another post saying GFNY is next weekend.
What time do they usually wrap up? Assuming they have this area closed off for the race? Can cyclists still ride over GWB and ride HH that day?
I’m new to cycling around NYC and wanted to hit the GWB to Henry Hudson Drive as I’ve heard great things about this ride. Can’t find online if it’s still closed to cyclists? Can anyone advise?
Is there enough room in front of my toes in this size? The next size up felt better width wise but felt a little too long. I know they are supposed to be snug but not too tight. Hard to decide. I don’t normally wear wide shoes but I don’t have narrow feet by any means
I dont hear much about the Aethos 2 on these threads, what are your thoughts on it as a first real (and hopefully last for a while) road bike?
I know it can be a polarizing bike to some in the community but wondering if anyone has it if you can share your pros and cons on it.
personally i love how clean and understated it is compared to some of the other specialized bikes (the silver color has small specialized logo not the large one splayed across the downtube)
also love the idea of e-shifting coming from a vintage road bike with friction shifters that is made from steel and weighs a ton
