I Need Help 🙏🏻

I live in a gated community. We have security gates that require codes for this community. This is nothing new, it’s been this way for years. The gate code for UPS, FedEx, and Amazon is permanent and doesn’t get changed. The first or outer gate is over two miles from my house. The second gate is about half a mile, and sometimes open.

Mostly our deliveries have been UPS. No problems with them at all. FedEx has delivered here before, but lately there have been several problems. One time they delivered my rug to the wrong house, and I had to jump through hoops to get a refund and have it redelivered. Another time, they left dog meds from Chewies up beside the road less than half a mile from the house. Very strange.

Now this most recent delivery was yesterday. About 15 items in one box from Amazon. I called in the morning to make sure they had the gate code and everything and was told that they don’t accept gate codes anymore? What?

I was sure this can’t be right. Many people live in gated communities. They can’t just not do security gates? Sure enough though I get a notification that my package was delivered. And a picture of the outer gate and the package left right there!

I called customer service, but they had no answers for me. They don’t accept gate codes anymore, period.

I had to call and get someone to give me a ride to the gate to get my package, very inconvenient.

What can I do regarding future deliveries? I can’t go through this again. A delivery service that doesn’t deliver. This is just so wrong.
