The emotional weight behind scabbards vs kaido fight was obviously better, but even then the animation was also up there in the greats. zoro vs king wasn't all that impressive or memorable to me, despite the animation being cool.
in fact i like sanji vs queen more (again more emotional because of the germa 66 drama)
scabbards' paradise totsuka was so peak, and the scabbards' story is one of, if not my favorite side-story in all of fiction.
wano could've been it's own series if they were the main characters.
the ending of 1003 to 1004 is probably my favorite episode so far, apart from 1015 of course.
(still confused on how the zoro vs king episode is so above 1015 in imdb. and how the "nothing happened" episode is #1
barring the fact that it's a main character doing it, it isn't even the best showing of loyalty in the show (i.e. raizo is safe).
i'm also iffed at the fact that most people keep propping zoro up in loyalty above sanji because of this when sanji was going to sacrifice himself too.
in fact i'm confused on how 1015 isn't the highest rated anime episode in one piece overall. (yes i know about the kuma flashback, but i haven't gotten to it yet (just started egghead))
