“Reverse cowgirl” feels off when I (21f) try it with my bf (25m). The other positions I’ve tried with him (missionary, me on top facing him, and doggie) all feel natural and good, but I just can’t seem to make reverse cowgirl work. I feel self conscious and it feels awkward, which takes me out of the moment. For context, I’m fairly new to sex in general and I’ve only tried this position once. He specifically asked me to try this position and he said it’s a favorite of his. When I asked him why, he said because of how it feels and because he likes to look at my butt. So I’m not opposed to this position in general. I just don’t get the appeal and so far don’t like it as much as I like other positions. Is there like a secret to doing this position better? If not, and if I can’t get into it, I likely just won’t continue to do it, but I’d like to try. Any advice would be appreciated.
