2023 honda crv sport touring hybrid (6th gen) oil leak

i have noticed something that looks like an active oil leak on the block behind water pump. i have shown the car to the dealer but they told me that there is no leak and that probably previous dealer spilled oil during last oil change. at this point i don't think it is true because:

  1. the oil spill seems freshly and consistently wet (red arrows in pics). i would expect it to burn off by now (last oil change was almost 8 months ago)
  2. the is no oil spill near the oil cap itself (yellow arrow in pic). it looks exactly like new which would not be possible to achieve after a spit even if wiped out
  3. there seems to be a small drop of oil accumulating under the car. i tried to wipe it away thoroughly but after a while it came back. (the oil drop doesn't drop onto the asphalt as far as i can tell)

could someone help me figure out what steps i can take to troubleshoot where the problem might be?
