CPU-9800x3d
Gpu- 5070 ti
Ram- g skill 6000 MHz 1.4v cl26 ( I am running ram without xmp enabled. Using stock jedec timings)
Mobo- b850 aorus elite WiFi 7 (latest version bios f11b)
Mouse - Razer viper v3 pro keyboard- apex pro
Monitor- Alienware oled 360 hz.
Internet- lan cable to fiber internet

I’m not sure why playing fps games like kovaaks or Fortnite are completely choppy and frame times aren’t consistent.

I’ve ran many many various stress tests on my cpu, ram, and gpu. I’ve never gotten any error on any of them when I overclock my components or when I leave them on default settings.
I’ve used different mice and switched out mousepads so I doubt this is a hardware issue.

I’ve fresh installed windows several times using latest drivers (installing chipset from amd, lan from Realtek site, etc) updating windows and I’ve still encountered gameplay that was still choppy.
I’ve installed windows and didn’t update any updates or drivers to see if it was a driver problem. Still didn’t fix the issue. The only driver I installed most recent every time is nvidia.

I don’t understand what the issue could be. It’s like a bug plaguing my system. Very rarely do I hop on, and everything is working perfectly. Most of the time my game/input is just delayed and not as responsive as it should be.
I have really high scores on kovaaks and generally use my performance on this game as a metric to how well my system is feeling. When I am not even getting close to my high scores, I know that something is wrong with my computer and I don’t know why.
Any help troubleshooting is greatly appreciated. I’d really like to get to the bottom of this.
