I haven’t seen too many people post about the laminated screen for the 1000. It is beautiful. Any IPS is an upgrade but I very happy to not worry about getting dust under the face plate.

Here is a timelapse of the installed. I tried to show comparison to the original screen but it’s hard to show on camera.

I was able to later install a clear shell faceplate later as well.
