So long story short, my friend got mad at me because she thought we were gonna pull an old bathroom vanity out (as well as a toilet) and replace it with a new in a couple hours *it took yesterday and today) I insisted she replace the subfloor because IT HAD WATER DAMAGE- she just wanted to throw the new one on top!
I'm not for double working in the future- let's fix that shizz NOW. It is not complicated, it just takes time.
I told her she had unrealistic expectations to which she said she DID have realistic expectations, I just turned this subfloor thing into a big ordeal.
Plus I did all the demo on the floor. All the measurements. All the driving around for supplies and tools (which I purchased for the job, but they are mine.)...
BTW I hate this shizz. I have been around it, I can do it, but I loathe taking measurements and making cuts... but she needed help, so I said yes.🤷
She didn't even have anything ready- she didn't know how to work or change the blade on her miter saw and got huffy with me for not knowing enough off the top of my head, no tools out, no plans made, no measurements taken...
SO, in summation, I just want some pro/in the biz advice: how much should this type of project cost her, labor included?😅😁
