Hi. I'm looking for advice. I'm 50yo and had my first root canal 2 weeks ago on Molar #18. #17 had decay under a filling so dentist said that also needed a crown. So two crowns side by side. Temporary crowns have been placed. Dentist ordered Glass-Ceramic crowns as that is what he likes to use. I'm a bit worried about the adhesives used to adhere the crowns. My skin has always been extremely sensitive to metals and also to adhesive bandages/glues. What would be the best adhesive for me for these glass ceramic crowns? I still want them to be strong and hold, but I also do not want to deal with any sort of reaction since I know these things can't just be popped off should I not tolerate the products. I read about acid etching and that whole chemical process and that seems like I might have issues. What other options are there? The dentist isn't really giving advice. I already paid in full- 4.3k for the crowns and they'll be in next week. No dental insurance. It is a lot of money and I'm trying to make sure there are no issues down the road.
