Arrest in Massachusetts was 11/2024. I was supposed to have trial tomorrow. I received an email from my lawyer saying it was moved to August because the cop is during a homicide interview. At what point do they just let it go?!? I didn’t blow, didn’t hit anyone. This is so frustrating. Could this work in my favor ?
If found guilty and you are sentenced, do they lock you up on the spot? Do they give you time to get your affairs in order? Do you just automatically lose your job and house? Jury trial in Massachusetts on Thursday and I’m starting to freak out. I have a feeling I’m going to lose and get locked up. 2nd OUI with no accident or anything and didn’t blow. Was charged 11/2024 and this has been dragging on. My wife passed away 11/25 so my life has been in shambles. I have no idea what I’m going to do and everything is a mess. What are the chances they put me in cuffs on the spot? I’ve been at my job for almost 16 years and I can afford to lose it
