My cameras stopped working, i just get a black screen.
2023 f250 lariat wih the parking sensors and 360 cameras. Sensors work they beep when i back up or do front parking and detect vehicles on the side while driving. Trucks is out of warranty already since i work out of town i put a lot of miles in it weekly i also checked the recall about tailgate camera eith my vin and it doesnt seem to be part of the recall I know the easeist thing will be to go to the dealer but im only home during weekends and local dealer said they only do oil changes and simple things during weekends id have to leave the truck with them snd i need it for work and its not possible for me to skip work at this moment. Im thinking of finding a local mechanic to fix it but i dont know if thats a good idea, would a local shop be able to check my cameras or is that something only ford technicians can really check? Idk what type of equipment a local mechanic would need to check it or if they even can. Any tips or input about it?
