I’m currently living and studying in China and I’m considering staying here for work later . I’ve been learning Chinese for a couple years now and was given the name “阿香” （my name is Anastasia, I usually go by Anna but they said that was too generic) at the very start and it kinda stuck.

Couple weeks back I attended an event and was told by some of my mentors I should consider picking another name since it sounded a little “rural” and “too homely” like a nickname.

If anyone has better suggestions- please share in the comments, I’m looking for something feminine sounding and preferably at least somewhat close to “Anna / Anastasia”, my last name starts with the letter “B” if that is relevant.
