First attempt at a tea set!

This glaze is my toxic trait, turns out so beautiful but also so difficult to work with and it never even.

At the back the rest of the goodies out of the kiln. The bowl should have turned out blueish… who knows what happened there.

So, you can see my post history, after many struggles with my in laws we reached a common agreement that they would book tickets for a month after my due date, because since I am a FTM, I will likely deliver late and I wanted to not feel pressure to have them over right after birth. I told them that if I was going to have the baby around my due date and I would feel ok then I would be super happy for them to come earlier, and that if I was actually feeling ok they could just come straight after the birth, but if they were gonna book tickets in advance; I wanted the to have tickets for 1 month after due date since were I leave the induce you at 41+5 and not earlier.

After many arguments and them being upset with my request they finally told us that the understand and that they would buy the tickets for 25 days after my due date, and I promised them I would let them come earlier if the baby came on time or if I was feeling good already.

Today they took me on a side and they told me “sorry, we know this is upsetting for you, but we decided anyways to come 2 weeks after your due date and we booked tickets”.

I am so angry, my parents wouldn’t dream to behave this way, and they are far poorer and still working and not retired. My husband is telling me that I need to forget about it and move on because he will deal with it. As if his parents respect my or his boundaries…

Hi, my midwife is lovely but I really can’t understand what I am supposed to put in the birth plan. I asked so many times and the answers left me super confused. Last time she told me: here it is standard to do all the “right things”, you get skin to skin asap, we cut the cord very long after the baby is born to make sure the blood is all back within her ecc… so you don’t need to include these things, just write things like “I am afraid of blood” or “I don’t like needles”.

This leaves me confused because what am I supposed to write? For sure about not liking blood because it’s true, and probably something along the line that I am scared of certain medical procedures, but for the rest can someone of you help me out by telling me what they included in their birth plan?
