This is kind of personal / random but i’m on 10 waitlists all t-14/t-20s so i know the chances of getting off are low. I’ve sent LOCIs and even shorter follow ups to all of them (work a 9-5 so not many updates or anyhting diff to share) , and have even chatted with students at most and visited 1-2. Of the list, 3-4 are absolute dream schools for me.

I’m committed to a t-40 regional school and am still excited to go / it fits my goals, but the idea of not getting off even 1 waitlist is making me sad lmao like i rly just wanted ONE. i know the summer is still unfolding but sometimes im like why couldn’t it just be me. and seeing ppl get into all of those schools makes me even more sad lols. anyways 😆

I def need to do research and make some decisions which I’ve been thinking about / setting up stage for, but for those working rn / in corporate, a few questions:

1. What are you doing with your 401k (if anything)?
2. when are you officially leaving your job?
3. any other housekeeping things you can think of
