I know there are a lot of companies that sell cute CGM patches/overlays, but I’d really love to start making my own designs that fit my aesthetic a little better. I just have no idea where to start material-wise.

I’ve seen people mention Hypafix, but honestly I’m not a huge fan of the texture/feel of it. I’m trying to find more of a Band-Aid-style material or medical adhesive fabric that:
- is skin-safe
- holds up well
- can be sublimated on (or printed on somehow)
- and can be cut with a Cricut to fit my specific CGM shape

Basically I want to create decorative patches/overlays myself instead of buying premade ones.

Has anyone here done this before or experimented with materials? Any tips, product recommendations, tutorials, or even “don’t waste your time with this” advice would be super appreciated 😅

I’ve been searching online but haven’t really found many clear answers.
