Hi! I’ll be traveling from Atlanta to spend 4 weeks in Northampton or nearby starting July 1st. My daughter is having a baby then & wants me to stay with her and her family for the first month.
I have a Shiloh Shepherd traveling with me, who will be approximately 8 months old and around 80 pounds at this time. He’s a sweet, beautiful boy with good manners, but these are giant dogs, and their hormones start to kick in around 8 months, which can lead to sub-optimal adolescent behavior. (He’s not my first Shiloh.)
So… I’d like to find a great boarding and/or board and train program for him while I’m up there. Maybe for just 2 weeks, maybe for the whole four.
He has no problem behaviors; no aggression, reactivity, or separation anxiety. I do not need corrective or protection training, I’m basically looking for a safe space where his obedience work could be tuned up or improved, and where I could still get to see him, without having to worry about him trampling over a newborn baby.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
