So I went to the dentist today to get a cavity on my two front teeth filled literally in between my two front teeth and I was told that it was a POSSIBLE NOT 100% root canal key word possible remember this.
Went into my appointment this morning at 8 AM. They started with my top injections. I got three injections in my top lip but they failed to tell me that they were numbing me for a root canal to which I was NOT scheduled FOR. I was under the impression that they were going to do the filling a regular way with just two or three injections on my top lip but no what they did without telling me was numb me for a whole root canal ( to which I didn’t even feel get numb so they stuck me in the literal roof of my mouth and back of my tooth for absolutely 0 reason and sent me into a hyperventilating panic attack due to how BAD the pain was, without my consent or my knowledge without being absolutely 100% sure that I actually needed one… surprise surprise I didn’t need a root canal. I feel like I was put through unnecessary pains with injections into the literal top of my fucking mouth. (The roof) and I was just curious if this seems unprofessional by anyway. I feel like you shouldn’t numb someone for a procedure. You’re not sure they need yet.. am I wrong here..? I’ve had plenty
Of fillings on my front teeth and I’ve NEVER had this done to me. Safe to say I’m more traumatized now even through the Valium and laughing gas u took that sent me into a hyperventilating panic attack with how badly it hurt me can some please tell me if this is okay????
