Lost Shortfilm Early 2000- 2004
Two men, a grieving father and the father of the person who killed his daughter, are trapped in an elevator, forcing a confrontation over the death
When comcast ondemand started around 2004 their was a channel called nanotv. It had a lot of short films many which I have found. Some being award winners such as "The Chair" and "Waiting for Go".
I have found NanoTV in the archives for its listings in 2004.
There is one shortfilm I have not been able to locate. It involves two father's get stuck on an elevator before a murder verdict sentencing is read in court . Both being fathers. One father of the victim whose daughter was murderd. The other being the father of the son who was guilty of murder. They have a heated discussion.
It is only 15 - 25 minutes and very well done short film. I know it was shot in black and white and likely Candian. It was a shortfilm festival winner as well.
Several names I remember are "The Elevator ", "The Lift" , "The Terminal" or "The Shaft". The first two being the likely. I know their are major Hollywood films of the same names. They're are completely unrelated.
Their are so many shortfilms of the same name.
