2015 M235i xDrive / Yellow Fluid Leak Near Front Right Wheel / Suspension?
Hey everyone! I’m looking for some advice. I’ve got a bit of trauma from fixing my oil filter housing gasket about 5 months ago, and now I’m seeing another leak.
I just had a coolant flush done, and the next day I found a yellowish fluid leak, this time on the right side of the car, near the wheel area. I checked for engine or oil leaks, nothing obvious. It’s not your typical darker oil color, so I’m thinking it might be from the suspension, maybe a blown strut or gasket. Based on that color and location, does it sound like suspension fluid to you?
What’s weird is there’s also a long strip/oily mark above the tire area, almost seeming to come from around/above the coolant reservoir area. BUT the coolant reservoir itself looks completely dry, and the oil/coolant cap area also looks dry. Super confusing.
And if it is, should I replace just the front pair or all four? I’ve got 19” wheels, so no major lowering planned. Any suggestions are welcome!
