Advice needed as a 1st year undergraduate
I’m currently sitting at 67 (not a joke I promise) credits after a maymester class I’m taking. I feel I have established my self at my school, but I’m slightly panicking on what to do.
I’m sitting right now at a 3.93 GPA, and it’s going to go up this semester after getting all A’s and 3 A+, I feel I have already started connecting well with professors here and am establishing myself at my school through leadership positions and taking advantage of the location inside the city to find connections in both legal and political fields which are my two career fields.
Where things get complicated is that I have a current transfer offer to a better public school (not elite level but still competitive) and I’m unsure of whether or not to take it.
My logic is if I stay, I’ll stand out more in this school, and that could help me land some high tier softs that can better my chances of getting into a T14 (I dream big, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, etc) but at the same time I’m afraid I’ll miss out on better academic rigor, support for law school admissions, etc
One more thing complicating it is, I’m unsure of what to do about the time I have left in undergrad, should I do the full 4? Finish in 2 and a half and get work experience first, etc. any advice?
