I had a seasonal job that I know the months I started and ended, but not the exact dates. I want to include the job on my resume as it’s customer service. I don’t want to disqualify myself because of putting a date that might be slightly off from my actually start and end dates.

Any advice on what to put on my application portals/resume? Thanks!

Hi all,
Current NYC teacher looking to become a flight attendant. I have a bachelors and masters in education. I’m building my resume and curious on how to include my work history before teaching, if it’s even necessary.

Before teaching, I worked a customer service job at a grocery store. I also was a shift lead for the front end of the store. Because it was customer service role, my gut instinct is to include it, but I worked this job seasonally. I started in high school then worked throughout college, but only during my school breaks (across 5 years).

I’m nervous of what employment verification would look like if I receive a CJO/CTO as I’m not 100% confident with all my starting and ending dates with the grocery store over the 5 years. I’m mostly sure of the months, but not to the exact date. This fear is making lean towards excluding it in my resume.

Would my resume with just my 5 years of teaching experience be enough? I appreciate any and all advice?
