I just got a used iPhone as a gift, and I’m switching over from Android. The problem is that the official "Move to iOS" app is just not working for me. I’ve tried every tip I could find online (disabling cellular data, restarting both devices, etc.), but it fails every single time.
I’ve decided to set up the iPhone from scratch and move my files manually, but I really need to keep my WhatsApp chats.
My situation:
-The iPhone is factory reset and ready for the process.
-I have a fresh WhatsApp backup on my old Android.
-I’m looking for a free and reliable way to transfer the chat history.
Is there any app or method that actually works for free? Most of what I find on Google seems to be paid software (like Tenorshare or Dr.Fone) disguised as free tools.
