I had a lady reach out to me via FB asking about a part time position. We had scheduled a time to meet and I had messaged her my references and didn’t get a response. I followed up the next day saying id only be able to work 2 of the days instead of three, no response. 1 day later I deleted the text thread bc I thought she wasn’t interested anymore. Tomorrow is what my trial day was supposed to be and after 4 days of being ghosted she responded asking if I was comfortable nannying her children and gave me their birthdays, in my post I state all my experience with children, the ages and my availability. I’m wondering how to politely decline because the crazy lack of communication was insane to me. I’m also pissed off bc I had bothered some family’s I used to work for asking if they’d be a reference.
