For a long time we were able to purchase movies in FHD resolution but the playback on computers browser was limited to 480p by YouTube with the only way to get full resolution on TV OS YouTube app or Chromecast.

However I've recently noticed that my movies are playing in FHD on chrome browser on my windows 11 laptop.

Do you noticed it too? Are other browsers concerned by this change? Is it due to YouTube or some changes to HDCP on chrome maybe ?

On march 31st I got checked while I forgot my wallet on the U-Bahn so I couldn't show my physical D-Ticket from my employer. I sent my documents online the next day on the platform to reduce the fine to 7€.

My issue is that I left Berlin from 25.04 until today (09.05) and when coming home I discovered a letter from BVG in my letterbox dated from 17.04 but which arrived while I was out of Berlin (I checked my letterbox before leaving). The letter is asking to make the payment of the 7€ by May 1st which is already passed. Of course I immediately made the payment now, but I am afraid they might have already escalated the case.

Did you had a similar situation? Will it goes fine? What should I do?

Since I opened the case online to challenge the fine, and got a confirmation by email about it, I was expecting to get notified by email of their decision but I received nothing.

I've been exploring the island for a week now and I am quite disappointed by the amount of trash — especially tissues/toilet paper — on the different trails. When I go hiking in other countries people are respectful and either burry their toilet paper in the ground and/or take their trashes with them until they can dispose of them safely. I start to think it can be a consequence of mass tourism on the island.

What's your take?

I and some friends are visiting the island to do some hiking and there's one thing we don't understand. Some PR trails require paying a tax to get an access ticket but the proposed times only go from 8:00 to 19:30. We would like to go for sunrise and sunset which occur before and after these times.

Are the trails open before 8:00 and after 19:30 ? Is it allowed to go outside these hours or do we risk a fine ? Does it still requires a ticket outside these hours ?
