I'm a product manager who's spent 5+ years building apps people actually use. I recently took time off and I've been thinking a lot about what to build next and I realized I've been too inside the tech bubble.

I want to build something specifically for women. As of now, I am at an intersection of community, women friendships and loneliness. I was curious to see if there are other problems out there that are more frustrating, recurring and unsolved (or shabbily solved).

I'm not here to pitch anything, just a woman trying to build things that matter, and I'd rather start with real problems than another idea I invented in my head.

What are some of your problems I could help build a solution for?

I experimented with matching a bunch of women (friends of friends) into tiny groups basis shared interests and similar life phases. I wanted to see if people would talk to each other on their own, find events to go to together and maybe become friends eventually but honestly, it fizzled out in a few weeks. I know there are apps and platforms out there that do this creatively through hosting breakfasts etc, but most women I know still talk about how lonely they are and how tough it is to make friends. I used to travel and make friends but when I don't, I crave for a friend group desperately, even though I love solitude. Is the loneliness and lack of female friendships really not that big of a problem?
