Context:

I am the ULTIMATE procrastinator and I knew that I needed to take this HESI since January before my schools deadline (April 27th) but I literally didn’t take it until April 24th and I only studied for two days.

Minimum Grades to Enter Nursing Program

  1. English Language Composite: 80%

  2. Math: 80%

  3. Anatomy and Physiology: 75%

Subjects I Took, Actual Scores, and Resources

English Language Composite: 82.67%

I had to take the reading comprehension, grammar, and vocabulary. I will admit. I BARELY studied this cause I already felt like I was strong in this area. I maybe studied a grand total of 2-3 hours for all 3 subjects. I did 45 minutes on each and that’s it.

Resource I used for this was only the HESI A2 Pocket Prep

Math: 94%

GUYS. I WAS SO SURPRISED I SCORED SO DAMN HIGH. I was stressing about this one. I’m not even that good at math but here is what YOU NEED TO STUDY FOR MATH (At least for this one.) PROPORTIONS. I literally had no idea how to do proportions and I found a random YouTube short that was like, “You need to do proportions on the HESI.” I kid you not. I just watched that short and did random proportion problems online and BAM. Most of my math questions were proportions. Everything else was basic multiplication, adding, division, and some conversions.

Resource: I literally have no resource for this. I just looked up “HESI proportion math problems”

Anatomy & Physiology: 96%

THE QUIZLET WAS GOATED. IT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE SAME QUESTIONS AND I WILL LINK IT FOR YOU GUYS.

Anatomy and Physiology Quizlet

For anyone super stressed about this exam. I BELIEVE IN YOU. If I, the ultimate procrastinator, and score a decently high score on the HESI, then YOU CAN TO WITH MORE PREP TIME.

I gotta stop procrastinating lol.

Feel free to ask me any questions!
