Bf broke up becuase he believes in objective morals and I believe in subjective morals?
Tl;dr Just a shortened version,
My bf of nearly 2 years broke up with me suddenly nearly a month ago because he believes us having two separate beliefs about morals cannot co-exist.
We were living together, travelling, had great work life and financially stable. He became orthodox christian a few months ago and ever since has been quizzing my on my world view, my morals beliefs and my salvation. Ive made it very clear I am happy for him to live his life how he sees fit and it would never change how much I love him however he cannot seem to extend me the same.
He broke up after stating he thoight I idolized him, loved him too much, didnt have space for both me and god in his life and now is saying becuase our beliefs in morals differ this was enough to throw away out entire relationship.
Not looking for sympathy, maybe just some thoughts or advice so I dont feel completely crazy.
