So long story short, I picked this up on eBay as not working in the hopes I could fix it easily. When I opened the gameboy, there was corrosion on the battery terminals and a little on where the main terminal is connected to the board. I e already cleaned with IPA and a little white vinegar, and there’s still no power. I’ve heard a multimeter can be used to help fix these. Anyone got any ideas what I can do/try next? Or is it a lost cause?

Just acquired this game boy advanced Target edition from the original owner on eBay. Paid a pretty penny for it because I wanted a limited edition. Thinking of putting an IPS screen in it, but still keeping the plastic screen lens and putting a screen protector on it. What is everyone’s thoughts on IPS? Just for perspective, this is for plane, not reselling.
