Need advice
I have a 5 gallon betta tank with a male and a 10 gallon shrimp tank. I also have a 10 gallon tank that is not being used in my attic. I went to Petco to get bugs for my reptiles and I saw this poor female betta with a curved spine for .75. I know I am not ready for one but I got her anyway. I have a mesh cube that I used before for a betta with a swim bladder problem. She is currently in my male bettas tank in the mesh square with plenty of plants to hide. She seems happy and is eating well. So my question is do I move the betta tank to the 10 gallon and keep her in this mesh cube since she has a curved spine or is that animal abuse? Or do I put her in my shrimp tank without being in the cube? Or even do I get her a 5 gallon set up of her own? I am just worried if she will be able to get to the top when she needs to because of her deformity.
